Week Eight: This week is my final week and my final blog. We learned about different terms such addiction, distracted driving, digital detox, family media plan, and screen time. In today's world social media is a powerful tool, but it comes with many risks. Excessive screen time can lead to addiction, making it hard to focus on important tasks and creating distractions, such as distracted driving. Studies show that when we're glued to our phones, our attention is divided, putting ourselves and others in danger. One way to combat this is through a digital detox, where we take intentional breaks from screens to reset our habits and improve well-being. By balancing screen time and offline activities, we can maintain a healthier relationship with technology.
